Do you feel the crisp air, shorter days, and a few red and yellow leaves poking out of the trees? Fall is finally here! So why not get out and enjoy some of New England's most popular orchards? These car travel tips will allow you to take advantage of the height of the season and reap the benefits of spending time in the great outdoors.
Lyman Orchards - Middlefield, CT
Located in central Connecticut, Lyman Orchards was established in 1741 and has remained a family-owned orchard ever since. Feast upon fresh baked apple pie and hot cider doughnuts while roaming the grounds for peaches, pumpkins, and apples. You can also make friends with the locals: ponies, goats, llama, sheep, chickens, and bunnies.
